Click HERE to sign up for the winter CSA
Another warm day. It is weekend and I mostly want to curl up with a book and let the day float by. I did sleep in and milked the cow at 9am and went back t bed till the farmers market meeting at noon. In a bit Middlebury students want to help me plant garlic, so the book has to wait. I made some tea and added up the veggies.
It seems we had a bad year for onions and potatoes, just enough for us Birdsfooters, a few potatoes for the CSA. There is some squash and cabbage and plenty of carrots, beets, parsnips, celeriac, garlic for you.
I am attaching the form for the winter CSA and hope you will sign up. We start on Wednesday 4pm Canton and 4.30 in Potsdam. Please note we have new pick up sites!
Canton is the Cleary family on 66 Judson Street, tel: 970 691 9097
In Potsdam it is the entrance to the right of the French family, Waverly St.20; a group of students: Marley's number: 315-566-1245, Natalie's number: 907-720-7772
please make payments to : Birdsfoot Farm, 1263 CR 25 Canton, NY 13617
Also be aware that these families open their home to you with the veggies inside. So please pick up the same afternoon/early evening or call for other arrangements. If you are out of town I can hold your veggies at the farm until you are back . After it gets very cold Farm pick up veggies are in the Birdsfoot basement. Just walk into the house and Birdsfooters will guide you to them. You are family.
So it is Monday by now and I have to pick greens and plant more garlic. Thank you so much for eating our veggies!
peace, Dulli
