last Friday was the last Fall CSA drop off. It has been a pleasure to feed you. We still have potatoes, carrots, cabbage, garlic, some onions and beets. If you want to sign up for the winter CSA starting January 2nd every two weeks, let me know. Cost for a basic share are $115/125basic share and 130/140 full share with celeriac.
I picked up Kira from college and we are hanging out before going to Maryland for Christmas week. We are playing games and eating big breakfasts together, very fun.
I am working on the seed orders and bookkeeping. I am all done inventorying the leftover seed and are now looking where to buy.
It is so warm that I have not moved the veggies from the cooler to the basement as we can cool the cooler better than the basement. It is above freezing so packing in the barn is good. Veggies seem to have to stay in the cooler over Christmas week, this is unheard of.
I also booked my vacation to Germany, mid January till mid February with a visit to Seba in Boston. Before booking I had to find a home for the cows so they are fed and milked for a month. The new Amish neighbors around the corner offed to take them and Carol will be going to another neighbor who has less dogs that she charges.
I hope you will have a cozy Christmas time.
peace, Dulli
